Bartholomews Meadery is internationally known and awarded. Passionate owners James and Careena Kellie have won many awards for both their mead and honey.
Bartholomews Meadery specialises in the ancient craft of making mead, the oldest alcoholic drink on earth. The mead is made from natural honey sourced only from the south west of Western Australia. The honey is not processed or heat treated, so it comes to you pure and straight from the hive. The honey recently won a Gold Medal in the Sydney Royal National Honey Show.
At Bartholomews Meadery you will discover many wonderful products made by bees including:
- finest quality unprocessed honey
- propolis (a natural antibiotic)
- bee pollen, beeswax and royal jelly products.
Don’t forget to experience the glass bee hive and taste the ice cream.
Visiting the Meadery is a taste, sight and smell sensation!
Bartholomew’s Meadery is OPEN daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm and from 9am to 5pm during school holidays. Closed on Christmas Day.
