ENTERTAINMENT
Joining us from 10am -12noon is local musician Xavier Kolan
Xavier is a 14 year old local who has been learning the violin for a little more than 4 years. His favourite pieces range from American traditional to classical.
Xavier is a fifth generation Australian, but his Bohemian and American bloodlines make him inclined towards broad musical genres, and he loves music which “speaks to the soul”.
Above all, Xavier loves sharing the pieces he loves with the public. He has performed at the Albany Concert Hall, the UWA Calloway Auditorium and the Albany Eisteddfod, and enjoyed every minute of it!
Come and hear him play on Saturday 30 December. (He is saving up to buy his first proper violin bow, if you happen to have a loose coin to drop into his fiddle case. 🙂
